Diversity Works for London
DWfL seeks to promote the economic benefits of business diversity across the Capital. Almost 3,000 London organisations are now registered to use the DWfL programme. The Gold Standard is a key part of the London Development Agency's Diversity Works for London (DWfL) Programme.
The Gold Standards are a comprehensive set of exemplary equality and diversity (E&D) practices addressing all aspects of business performance including workforce, workplace, marketplace and suppliers. There are two versions, one for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) comprising 24 standards, and one for large enterprises with 36 standards. It consists of a practical online tool that allows organisations to systematically review their businesses' Diversity practices and performances against best practice, receive guidance and advice where gaps exist, and formulate a strategic plan of action to enhance their equality and diversity practices and business performance.
